Participant Profile

In some Boards, meetings take too long, fail to cover all agenda items, and face increasing difficulty in overcoming disagreements and reaching consensus. In Corporate Governance, power structures are deeply interdependent with how we behave in the Boardroom.

This course addresses these challenges by strengthening participants’ understanding and capabilities in navigating Board dynamics more effectively, through the use of practical simulation cases.

Focus and Topics Covered

Focusing on the distinctive dynamics of a Board — particularly in its relationships with various stakeholders — this programme is structured around three core areas: financial reporting, decision-making, and negotiation.

Participants will develop both interpersonal and analytical skills for managing negotiation and communication processes, including business model analysis and the impact of prudential ratios and decision-making processes at Board level.
